1921 Harry’s New York Bar, Paris, saw the birth of this classic restorative cocktail.
- 50ml Vodka
- 150ml Tomato juice
- 2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- pinch celery salt
- 1-2 dashes Tabasco Sauce
- black pepper
Build directly in a highball glass filled with ice, stir well add a twist of ground pepper on top.
However, I prefer to ‘aerate’ the drink by gently pouring the mixture from one shaker to another and then pouring that into the glass.
Garnish with a celery stick and wedge of lemon.
